Ben Baldwin Memorial Scholarship
In the fall of 2018, the Baldwin Family established the Ben Baldwin Memorial Scholarship Fund at First Congregational Church, UCC in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, to honor the life of Ben Baldwin, who died tragically in May 2018. The scholarship is funded from the proceeds of the Baldwin Memorial Hockey Tournament, with generous support from local businesses and individuals throughout the year. It is intended to keep athletes involved in athletics who otherwise may not be able to afford it. It is our charge to consider and select students with this goal in mind, and to continue the legacy of Ben’s bright spirit in the world.
All athletes in need are welcome to apply. Scholarships are available to students without regard to athletic skill, age, ability, race, color, sex, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability.
In order to be considered for a scholarship you must submit the online application form, and one letter of reference. Please have your reference writer submit their letters directly to the church office admin@wolfeboroucc.org. References should be written by an adult who is not a family member. We are happy to receive your information via mail as well (PO Box 913 Wolfeboro, NH 03894)
If you have additional questions, please be in touch with Krista the church office at (603) 569-1555 or by email admin@wolfeboroucc.org.
